Our glamping site is situated in our woodland meadow accessed via a 150m stepped path from the carpark that cuts through the woods, across the stream and into the meadow, This means that there is no direct vehicle access to your dome. We will of course help you with your luggage, and provide a cart for your use during your stay with us. We regret that we cannot offer wheelchair access.
Getting muddy in the woods and wet in the stream are optional, but a pair of boots is a must. Each dome has its own kitchen with fridge to keep drinks and foodstuffs chilled. Eco friendly toiletries are provided, and we can supply linen and towels. You are of course welcome to bring as much or as little as you like with you. But please remember that everything must be taken down through the woods to your dome.
We operate a quiet site after 10pm and ask that you are considerate of others. We do not accept single sex groups (stag / hen parties). We can accommodate one car per dome. Unfortunately there is no other parking close to the site. As dog lovers, we regret that we cannot accommodate any dogs.
Our meadow backs on to our neighbour's sheep field, and we have wild deer that cut through our woodland daily.
Supermarkets, restaurants, takeaways and several great pubs are only a five minute drive in various directions. You can walk or cycle up the lane to a great farmyard cafe and food delivery apps such as Just Eat do sometimes deliver, though they can be inconsistent due to our location.
Like many people, it's very important to our family that we have as small an impact on nature as possible. So we decided to become a Greener Camping site. Greener Camping ensure their sites meet strict recycling standards, keep visitor numbers low, and have closed periods during the year, allowing the land to recover. They even planted 5,500 trees on Greener Camping sites in 2020. To stay with us you'll need to be a Greener Camping member. But don't be put off. It only costs £10 and we'll happily arrange it for you.
